There are heaps of awesome gigs lined up this week, with incredibly talented acts visiting Newcastle, as well as a bunch of local talent mixed in. 


Kingswood w/ WAAX + Maddy Jane
Kingswood have made a return, delivering their album After Hours, Close to Dawn showing listeners their sound has no limits. Although this album steps away from the distinguishable rock sound they’re known for, it reveals Kingswood’s creativeness, Fergus Linacre, member of Kingswood saying “there’s no direction we can’t take now”. It’s going to be a night filled with an eclectic collection of songs, one not to miss.

Tijuana Cartel w/ special guests
The band from the Gold Coast, not the Mexican drug cartel, are bringing their electronic tribal rhythms to The Small Ballroom.

 The Gooch Palms w/ Raave Tapes + Wavevom (31st March), Vacations + Pals + Big Chief and the Bottle Openers (1st April)
Local legends The Gooch Palms are back from the US for a short time to bring you two wild nights in the Cambridge side bar. They always put on a good show, be quick to get a ticket if you haven’t already, one show has already sold out. After this they’ll be touring the world and heading into the studio to record their third album.

Blondie and Cyndi Lauper w/ The Clouds + Montaigne + Alex Lahey
Iconic artists Blondie and Cyndi Lauper are visiting the Hunter Valley this Saturday, co-headlining A Day On The Green. Australian indie rock outfit The Clouds are reforming especially for the tour as supports, with other local legends Montaigne and Alex Lahey joining the bill.
