Urban Mess began in 2015 as a communal dining event based around a chosen international cuisine by chef Tony Harrison and partner Melisah May at Lowlands Bowling Club. It's now expanded to pop-ups and event catering, so you can enjoy a carefully curated menu at Newcastle's finest locations.
Tomorrow, Sunday 15th April, an Urban Mess pop-up will be held at Merewether SLSC (above Blue Door Kiosk) in partnership with Inner City Winemakers.
You can order classic seafood specials from 12:30pm and the best part is, there's no need to book. It's an à la carte menu which means you just order and pay from a set selection of dishes.
Rob from Inner City Winemakers will be there with a selection of his wines on hand and will be happy to answer any questions on the drop you're after.
Relax and unwind by the beach on a Sunday afternoon!
If you can't make it, don't stress. Lowlands Bowling Club are hosting a Caribbean Urban Mess on Sunday 22nd April. The communal dining night at Lowlands is a great way to share delicious food and meet your community.
Unlike the pop-up this event is bookings only, so please email them if you'd like a table! It starts at 6pm.
