If you’re looking to fit out a new place, or need some bits and pieces to spice up your current space, and you want something that is vintage and upcycled, Crab Apple Vintage is the store for you. Located in Tighes Hill, owner Martina Long has always had a passion for bringing life back into old pieces of furntiure. After amassing a bit of a following online, Martina eventually opened up the warehouse, letting people enjoy her collection of industrial and recycled goods in the flesh. Finding preloved gems from all over the place, including schools, factories, homes and even a small selection from shores abroad, any piece you find here is sure to be one-of-a-kind. You can even hire some of their stock to fit out an upcoming photo-shoot or wedding. Martina is also known for running her chalk paint workshops, where you learn tips and tricks on how to upcycle your own pieces of furniture while using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, which is only used in six stores around the country. To keep an eye on what vintage pieces are coming through their doors, be sure to follow them on Instagram @crabapplevintage.
