Newcastle loves a good market, we have them for the hipsters, for the makers, gosh we even have a farmers markets, but what if you wanted something that had a little bit of a mix of all of them and also did something for a good cause? We finally have the answer! Five Senses Twilight Markets in Lambton Park and their next event is September 2nd so you can mark it in your diary from 4 - 8 pm.
It just so happens that this next market lands on the day before Fathers day and as luck would have it Murray's Craft Brewery are joining the party... see what we are hinting at? Well Beer, everyone loves beer, especially Dads! We'd also like to mention local label Yeh Boy Street who people may not be as familiar with but are up & coming and definitely worth checking out!
"Yeh Boy Street is Newy based & offers street fashion for all ages, specialising in threads for babes-teens. Our ever expanding labels Yeh Boy and Yeh Girl are collections of surf/skate/streetwear designed with love & dreams, & printed locally."
What else can you expect at the Twilight Markets? Comyns & Co are amongst the lineup of wineries providing tastings, Laree Wasson Art and Luna Emporium both local artists with a crazy amount of talent! Scrubba Body, Lone Clothing Co. & UFO Labs Clothing, as well as a couple of additional local labels we think, are awesome and there's a massive list of foodies but couple of favs have got to be Smokin Hot n Saucy who are currently competing in comps both here & in the US with their Texas BBQ skills, Gourmet Burgers who are always popular and Choux Patisserie with their amazing eclairs! And Hitop Coffee and The Rollin Bean for the caffeinated goods!
Crab Apple Vintage are donating the lighting & styling to create the vibe and Lambton Fire Station are joining in again for an interactive experience the kids will all love.
Did you notice we mention that Five Senses Twilight Markets also support a good cause? Each month A La Mode Events select a charity in need and donate a portion of the funds raised to this charity. The next event charity is MND NSW that supports people with Motor Neuron Disease. Currently, there is no cure, so your attendance could actually impact MND and that's a good idea.
