976477_10200893686839814_1683843772_o“I AM A 20 YEAR OLD NEWCASTLE BASED PHOTOGRAPHER SPECIALIZING IN OUTDOOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY. PHOTOGRAPHY IS CAPTURING AN  EMOTION THAT TIME WILL LET SLIP BY AND I INTEND TO CATCH AS MANY OF THESE EMOTIONS AS I CAN.” I NICKED THAT FROM JADEN’S FACEBOOK PAGE, BUT KEEP THAT BETWEEN YOU AND ME PLEASE. WE CAUGHT UP WITH THIS FINE SPECIMEN TO TALK ABOUT WORK AND ALL THAT.

How would you describe the photos that you take? Do you have a particular style? I would say my photos are very “real” I love taking photos of people using natural light and real places around Newcastle, I am very much an outdoor type of photographer, I always try to capture the beauty of nature and Newcastle in my photos.

Are there any special projects you are working on at the moment? Generally, I am the sort of person that gets an idea randomly one day and acts on it quickly. Although I do have a few shoots that I am keen to try, but in time.

Where should people go to find your work? They should jump onto Facebook and search ‘Jaden Cavanagh Photography’. Currently working on setting up a website.

What got you into Photography? I was 17 when I got my first camera, my interest started when my Mum got married and their wedding photographer let me take a few photos with his camera, I instantly was hooked. I have also just really loved the real beauty some people can capture, I guess I just decided I want to do the same.

Who is your biggest influence/s? My biggest influence would have to be Julia Trotti and Kiara Rose, if you haven’t seen their work before I would strongly recommend checking them out.

What’s next for Jaden Cavanagh Photography? Well I am looking to expand my name and photos out to all of the Newcastle and Maitland area, I really am trying to build a full blown business and be a full time photographer. Just remember if you need photos done for any occasion, just message me on Facebook!
