I'm still waiting for Ryan to arrive.

Long weekends usually come with lots of options for entertainment.
I've long been singing "moving out" by West Thebarton, so when the option came up I was straight on the show. My partner in crime for Mirage, Ryan Williams, was planning to come along too, but he still hasn't arrived.
We arrived just as Pist Idiots started (sorry to Blue Velvet for missing you) and I definitely understood why they chose the band name, although I kept expecting the singer to put on one of those mexican wresting masks, I don't really know why? Solid pub rock to get the mood up high.

Then we waited for West Thebarton.

First I was curious how they were going to fit so many guitarists on the stage. 7 piece act, West Thebarton, have no shortage of guitars and energy. I wondered if they just kept saying "yes" to their mates wanting to be in the band and then realising only one of them wasn't a guitarist? Anyways, hot off the heels of a stellar Like A Version performance on Friday they rocked it out, including their cover of Florence and the Machine.
Finishing off the hot mess that was the dancefloor with my favourite tune "moving out" and a bit of a crowd surf.

I guess Ryan isn't coming then?
