Newcastle Mirage & Love + Rent curated Thursday Night Live, featuring local duo Jess and Stef (Hey Lady!), along with Melbourne act This Way North who are currently touring in support of their latest release, “Pressure”. Also joining the line-up from Melbourne is Tim Smyth & Holy Trash, and local Georgie Jones with a solo set. Cheap drinks and cheap entry to support local artists.

Alternative country/folk act Tim Solly is touring for the release of his EP Waking Up. The Melbourne artist picking Newcastle act The Wayward Henrys to join him!

The next three gigs I’m mentioning are all on Saturday, so you have plenty of choices for gigs that day. Alternatively, rather than choosing just one, you can bounce between the three and for anyone that does this and pulls it off, I’ll give you a high five or something.

Okay so this gig is free, you get an awesome line up and $5 young henrys. The Owls are releasing their single “Jesus Let Me Fly” the day before so are throwing a party- and you’re all invited (if you’re 18 or older). Go and watch Mirage’s Ryan Williams (aka funk Mirage soul brother).

Touring their debut album In-between, Pals have already visited Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, coming home before they set off to Wollongong and Brisbane. They’ve got locals Vacations and Scumdrops and Wollongong act HOON for supports. Even if you’re seeing Northlane in the main room, get there early for this gig and show them some love.
